  Jews who trust in Jesus is nothing new. The Christian church started out 100% jewish and they were considered another stream of judaism until they wouldn't fight when the 2nd Temple was destroyed by the Romans. So in the year 90 C.E. the Pharisees met at Yavneh and decided to curse all Jews who trusted in Yeshua. Once the Christian church became overwhelmingly gentile, they also cursed Jews within and without the church, including the rejection of messianic jews.
  
  So actually, Christianity (the jewish version) is older than rabbinic Judaism AND the (gentile) Christian church...and a Jew who trusts in Yeshua remains Jewish, if not more so than those who don't.

  I went here for several months, but I think I knew from the beginning that it wasn't the place for me. It was great to walk through their front door after a long week. The people are warm and friendly, which was nice but a bit overwhelming at times. They're very laid back, which was something I didn't like because I went there looking for a more traditional place of worship. During a musical portion, the children run around and dance if they want. I've never seen that anywhere before. They were well-behaved, just never seen that I don't view this as a Jewish congregation, but rather a place with elements of. I also found them to be a bit disorganized, so it's for these reasons I'm only giving them two stars. I didn't like it but it works for them or the people who go there so I guess that what's important. For some people this place would be perfect because it is so different, and what they're looking for. Just not me.
